These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the BizReg.lk website and the business registration, tax, and compliance services we provide. By using our website or engaging our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our website or services.

Our Services

BizReg.lk provides company registration, tax registration, auditing, bookkeeping & accounting, company secretarial, payroll management, and trademark registration services to businesses and individuals in Sri Lanka. The specific scope, deliverables, and fees for any engagement will be confirmed in writing (including by email) before work begins.

Client Responsibilities

Delays or errors caused by inaccurate or incomplete information supplied by you may affect processing times and outcomes, and BizReg.lk will not be liable for such delays or errors.

• Provide accurate, complete, and up-to-date information and documents required to carry out the requested service.
• Respond to requests for clarification or additional documentation in a timely manner.
• Ensure you have the legal authority to provide any information or documents submitted on behalf of a business.

Fees & Payment

Service fees will be communicated to you before an engagement is confirmed. Fees may include statutory or government charges payable to relevant authorities (such as the Registrar of Companies or the Inland Revenue Department) in addition to our professional fees. Full or partial payment may be required in advance depending on the service. All fees are non-refundable once the corresponding work has commenced, except where required by law.

No Guarantee of Government Approval

BizReg.lk facilitates the preparation and submission of applications to the relevant Sri Lankan government authorities. While we take reasonable care to ensure applications are accurate and complete, final approval, registration, or licensing decisions rest solely with those authorities. We do not guarantee approval timelines or outcomes that are outside our control.

Confidentiality & Data Protection

We treat all business and personal information you share with us as confidential and use it only for the purpose of providing the requested services. We will not disclose your information to third parties except where necessary to complete a service (for example, submission to a government authority), where required by law, or with your consent.

Intellectual Property

All content on this website, including text, graphics, logos, and images, is the property of BizReg.lk or its licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use our content for commercial purposes without our prior written consent.

Limitation of Liability

BizReg.lk provides its services with reasonable skill and care, but we do not warrant that our website or services will be uninterrupted or error-free. To the fullest extent permitted by law, BizReg.lk shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from your use of our website or services, including delays caused by government authorities, banks, or other third parties.

Termination of Services

Either party may terminate an ongoing engagement by providing written notice. You will remain responsible for fees relating to work already performed up to the date of termination.

Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka. Any disputes arising from these Terms or our services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Sri Lanka.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in our services or applicable law. The updated Terms will be posted on this page with a revised "last updated" date, and continued use of our website or services after such changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
